Does anyone use ICQ anymore?

i used to before AOL bought it. i liked it but i got tired of getting all thoes SPAM messages. so i dont use it anymore

I still have it installed. I just dont use any form of Instant message right now. I guess email could count.

lol, for some reason I used to think I was the only one that hated ICQ... btw 6069094 (i quit using it when i was 14 lol)
 
i quit using it a while ago too... unfortunate that most people use IM now. ICQ was the best thing when it came out and IM just sucked. now IM has stolen all of ICQ's features. my # is 387803... loooong time ago.
 
In 1997/1998 it was THE im program to have... I can remember trading numbers with a bunch of people on the last day of 7th grade. I really wish it remembered buddy lists back then, there's quite a few people I'd like to atleast try keeping in touch with. 🙁 UHOH!
 
Hmm, nope, it got lame. It was just too complex to be a simple, instant message program.

After installing Trillian I started using it again. ICQ's strenght used to be outside the US, but MSN is catching up really fast.
 
ICQ sucks @ss...used to never get msgs in real time...I would get a flood of them all together a couple days later...plus i hear all the spam on it now makes it even worse
