Does anyone use EVGA Precision to overclock their GPU?

Hello,

I am looking for the best program to overclock my GTX260 sli setup. I ran across a thread on another forum where someone was raving about the EVGA Precision program. Does anyone have any experience with it? I know the popular ones are Rivatuner and nTune. I am inspired to do some overclocking after the release of Fermi. I am going to wait for the next launch at this point. I think if I overclock my current setup, it will carry me for the next 6 months. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Ignore tweakboy anything he says is just senseless rambling. I'm an ATI user so I can't help you though sorry.

I use it for my setup and I really like it. It's very similar to Riva and yes, it does work in SLI mode. I stopped overclocking with it because I didn't see very much performance gain, but I still use it to ramp up the fans when I'm gaming. Do ignore tweakboy.

Same here. I use it (don't have sli but it is supported). Works w/o a hitch for me.

That was easy! It works well and is really easy. So far I went from a default 576/1242/999 to 625/1347/1100. My 3dMark Vantage score on performance setting went from P20449 to P22368. That was without even shutting off any background programs. For a final stabilty check, I will play Crysis for a an hour or so. Thanks for your help.

Yes. I like this tool. Feels polished and simple compared to most.

Precision is great when all you want is a simple OCing/monitoring tool. Easy to use and nothing unnecessary.

If you want to make fan speed profiles, MSI's Afterburner has a really good user interface for that.

I quit using Rivatuner when Precision came out. It does everything you need and it is easier to use and updated often.

I use PrecisionTool on my friend's rig, to overclock a 9600GSO, from 550/1200/900 to 600/1500/1000. Works well, but it requires an account on XP with Administrator rights to load the driver properly. He gets an error when he logs in with his limited-user account.

Thankfully, once the driver is loaded, the card is overclocked, even if you switch between accounts again.

I use it with my GTX260 and I think it's great. Like others have said, it's simple to use and gets the job done. I used Rivatuner in the past, but I haven't touched it since I started using eVGA Precision about a year ago.
