Does anyone taste the bacon in a bacon cheesburger?

With all the other stuff in the burger (ie: cheese, bread, burger, tomoto, lettuce), i cannot taste the bacon.

Thus i never spend the extra $ to add bacon anymore.

how could you not taste it? I think it is probably the most dominant flavor on the entire burger, besides the beef...

3 measly half strips of thin cut bacon is typical on a burger at a restaurant. If that is what you are eating, especially on a large burger, then yes the taste will be subtle. But it is still there and it is still good. But try 4 full strips of thick cut bacon on that same burger and you are talking bacon heaven.

I get mine with only ketchup, so I can definitely taste the bacon. It's yummy.

ya know, as much as I love my burgers to be fully dressed a bacon cheeseburger with only ketchup is very yummy. Better yet, bacon double cheesburger ketchup only.
