I used to play during middle school and high school most Thursday nights at the local hobby store. When I started, there was an equal balance of college kids, young kids, and old folks. Sold all of my cards except for 3 decks that I keep around just in case I get the itch to play some Thursday night. It was more about hanging out w/ those people after a while then playing Magic. I keep in touch w/ a few of them.

Sold all my cards to someone on these forums actually. Had some pretty good cards too, Beta Ancestral Recall, Beta Timetwister, bunch of nice beta dual lands. I kept my 4 Beta Savannah Lions though, they are pretty much in mint condition, wonder what they go for now hehe.

I bought a "fat pack" of Time Spiral last night and when I got home and opened it, all of the boosters had been opened and repackaged with old cards. 🙁 Bastards. I was able to return them though and bought a "future sight" fat pack. Alot of crazy new abilities...
