wow, listing fee + closing fee + 15% referral fee.
that's worse than ebay.

There's a fee for checking to see how much the fees are!!I just sold something on eBay. Forgot what a racket they have going along with Paypal. Fees for everything!
You had more or less feedback than what you sold?i did for a while, currently theyre holding $500 of mine for 6 months.. Apparently my amount of feedback didnt match the amount of items i'd sold!! So obviously I was a fraudster, eh? And getting people to leave feedback is a real bitch.
I sold a text book for $40 and got $29.XX. That's a tad over 25%.

ebay is generally around 9-10%, then paypal takes another ~3%.
ya, and the best part is the $500/month transfer limit so I can't even transfer all of my proceeds to my bank account
I don't want to confirm my credit card of give them my SSN. Bastards.
Amazon's higher fees are partially offset because they actually pay for the cost of shipping. But the fees are still higher than eBay.

Amazon is good in some situations, though. The listings stay up much longer and IMO they're easier to find. Plus eBay just has a much shadier reputation.
Amazon might be slightly better for items that could take a long time to sell.
you mean the shipping they charge the customer?
