Hi ,

I just installed Win XP x64 ,

I was wanting to install a 64 bit Linux Distro but couldnt find a download anywhere .

Has anyone got a Link to a download site for 64bit Linux Distro ?

I was looking for SuSE 64bit version , anyone know where i can find that ?

If SuSE isnt available , i wouldnt mind trying other distros ...

Sure, I run Debian on 2 64-bit architectures.

I believe SuSe only lets you do network/FTP installs for free, but I could be wrong on that one.

I don't like Suse.

I have Fedora Core 2 and now 3 (not really tested yet) on my AMD64. Does well, except for some braindamage around library setup. But that won't affect you if you don't try to run exotic 32 bit programs from other sources.

They should ship firefox, and they miss mp3 and DVD stuff, but you probably know that.

Update: Firefox now comes with Fedora Core 3 in the updates on AMD64.

FC updating still sucks, though, but the OS is pretty solid.

I have a 32 bit firefox with Java, flash and realplayer running. Not too bad overall considering amd64 is officially not on macromedia's or real's horizon. The emulation for the 32 bit environment does its job very well and I find myself using quite a few 32 bit binaries.
