Its car racing. Basically the course runs, and you have to avoid other cars and stay on the road. There would be "gas tanks" that you can pick up on the way to re-feul till the end.

Sometimes a superman character would come flying by on the left hand side, i forgot what the purpose was for it exactly.

Someone gotta remember it....

UPDATE: I Found IT!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAY

Its called Road Fighter! Its on www.virtualnes.com under "Japanese Games" for some reason. No wonder I went through all 500 of english version games and couldnt find it.
I played it when I was little in India, maybe they never released it in the US...

When you say atari are you talking 2600, 5200, etc? Or made by atari for the NES?

Spy Hunter? That had gas tanks I think.

Yeah, sorta like that.... I almost thought that was it.
But it wasnt as hard as spy hunter i believe....damn...so close. The roads were straight, I think, and only changed in width, and it was just the other cars and trucks that changed positions.

aaaahhhh....cmon...

I dont know which atari version...might just be nintendo... cant remember correctly.

Not the Great American Cross Country Road Race either. ...

I know what you're talking about. I used to have that game. It was on the NES system. The oil drums would make you spin out and lose speed and hitting the cars blows you up and makes you come to a stop. The point of the game was to beat the clock to the finish. Is that accurate?

YES, exactly.

In the later levels, you had to make sure you get enough oil drums to fuel up...otherwise, you wont be able to reach the end. Yes, there was a timer to beat.

Thanks...confirms im not going crazy....

He says the oil drums make you spin out, you say you have to collect oil drums to fuel up. Which is it?
