Does anyone remember the show Sliders?

I think it ended in 2000 so not really that old, but I thought that show was pretty decent, there were some good episodes, any idea where I can get them or where there are channels that I can watch reruns on? Anyone else enjoy this show?

I loved it. The one episode that really stands out in my mind was one where Wade and his friends sled into a world where Iraq has realeased a poison that killed off like 98% of the worlds men. The remaining men were being sold on the black market, and used in breeding farms so that humans could procreate. I have long wanted to live out that episode.

The writing was actually very good in the first couple of seasons, decent in the thrid, then semi-nonsensical once Jerry O'Connell (Quinn) left the show.

A few of the good ones
- the episode where Quinn teaches a younger version of himself about standing up to a bully
- some of the Kromags episodes, including the "slide cage" prison
- The end-of-the-world episodes that introduced Kari Wuhrer's character
- the "Species" rip-off where Kari Wuhrer was looking very nice :D (sorry no pics)

Not as consistent as Stargate (after SG1's weak first season), but some good and imaginative stories.

Hmmm, I wonder if Sci Fi is still showing it in some out-of-the-way time slot?

It comes and goes on Sci-Fi - it was 1:00PM Eastern weekdays for quite a while. Now it seems to be on not at all or just a few times a week.

Sliders was an awesome show. You can get some episodes on Kazaa, but the quality isn't good. Sci Fi's reruns are a better way to catch the show now. I think it comes on in the afternoons.

I remember that episode too! She was pretty hot in there wasn't she?

I also liked the one where they went to medievel world and everything was all wizards and sorcery, yet in a 20th century context.

!!! then let's not attack iraq! wait-a-minute....how do we knw we're gonna be the 2%?...ohhh...well, ITs comp nerds make up about less than 2% of the male population don't ya think?...so we gonna be in those breeding farms for sures! ..ahh the life..they're gonna give us money to buy from newegg cuz they gotta keep the engine of the breeding farms happy no?....aha


EDIT:.yeah i liked the show too....aha...but for some reason, the main character...ag;alksdfj forgot his name, gonna be in kangaroo jack.....his acting made me laugh...yeah..ahhah..but nevertheless..i like the show...and yeah! gimli was in it too! ahha

I remember the one where the revolution was lost. I liked that one. I think it was one of the first to air.

I liked the few episodes that I watched, but for some reason I could never really get into it. My Tivo records one every now and then..

Does anyone know what happened on the series finally for the show?

I remember one scene were the dominant OS was called "Doors" instead of Windows. Hehehe.

I remember one episode where, at the end, they slide into a world that they really think is their original home. Jerry O'Connell's (sp?) character knows one way to find out for sure. He walks up to the gate in front of his house and swings it open. It doesn't squeak like it did back home and they slide to another world.

The scene switches to inside the home where a handyman is explaining to Jerry's mom how he fixed the squeak in the gate! :Q
