Why don't they make games like this any more?!!?? That would be soooo cool if they remade this game on the new systems using the same sort of art style but with like cell shading (ie Jet Grind Radio) and make it playable with 4 players or through the internet.

River City Ransom rocked, I still play it on nesticle from time to time.

yeah I play it on Nesticle too. Probably my favorite NES game.

It's one of the games I always bring up in NES discussion......not too many people know about it, but yeah, it was one of the best games every made for the NES. I played the Japanese cartridge on my famicom until I finally got an english version. Sure was difficult figuring out what I was buying. ^_^
