Does anyone remember a rap group named Luke Skywalker?

yes, 2 Live crew, they were EXTREMELY vulgar, most of their songs could not be played on the radio

they were from florida , i think. 1989 was their big year and it was downhill from there

short lived due to the crappiness of their rap

2 Live Crew, Miami (c)rap...

All they sang about was pus** this, fck this, face down a** up, it was very vulgar and very funny.

yea he released an album titled Banned in the USA. The title song was a rip of Springsteen's Born in the USA. My favorite track was Mama La Penga, a spicy rap with a great rhythm. the album was fun, but in retrospect, trash. 🙂

OMFG, Mama la Penga I remember that one. Sitting in school with a bunch of fellow virgins thinking we were cool cause we memorized every song on those albums

I think Luke Skywalker was the name of the record label. Lucas sued them and they changed it.

2 Live Crew was the group.
