The best way to get people to care is to care for other people without expecting anything in return.
You've got to give of yourself first.
People see and admire selflessness.
It's a big nasty catch 22, but that's the way it works.
It also takes a mind that allows itself to see when people do care.
Go help an old lady across the street. That's where it starts.

do you really care about anyone or anything? maybe if you meet someone, you will start to care

From my own experience, I've met some incredibly caring people in our church. I won't bore you with examples, just stating a fact.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess the thing is that I haven't had a stereotypical life and it is hard to open up to people. That is why it is easier to talk about other peoples problems and not my own. Same goes for other peoples experiences. Not a lot of people can relate to me I am afraid.

ill tell you one thing, if you go up to ppl and alwatys act depressed and start talking about your problems, no one will care bc no one wants to deal with just that.
so dont do that.
