Well, I went out at lunch today to CircuitCity to buy a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR device. When I was checking out they said if I wanted to bring it back beacuse I didn' tlike it, I'd have to pay 15%.

So, I went to Best Buy and bought an ATI TV Wonder USB 2.0 device which does pretty much the same thing. But BB doesn't have a restocking fee so they got my business...

Anyway, I get back to the office and open the box and there's no manual of any sort. So I pop in the CD assuming it's on there and it brings up a menu for:

All in wonder 9600, All in wonder 9200, ATI Remote Wonder, ATI Multimedia Center, and Hydravision. None of these are the product that I bought. That's great.

I wanted to read how this thing works before I go and install it and now it looks like I can't read anything about it at all. WTF is up with that?

I'd have just bought the original one from Newegg.com but I want to try it first to see if I like it and don't want to pay to have to ship it back.

Oh well. Maybe no one will be getting my business if I can't even see how this ATI oen works with it's channel guide and such.

Yes I was finally able to find it on their site... But why would they put a CD in there that has all the wrong stuff on it. It almost seems like it;s the CD that wuld go with a video card and they just put the wrong CD in the box.

This thing seems like junk though so I'll probably take it back and buy the original one from Newegg and hope it works well. heh.
