Does anyone play Progress Quest?

I have just found the PERFECT game for stats junkies! Its called Priogress Quest. Its a roleplaying game where you dont have to do anything, your character just progresses by itself and of course theres stats!!

At the moment Im level 7 and if theres enough interest we could make our own guild. I hope to see you there.

(There program is really small and it shouldnt slow your computer at all.)
 
I'm playing it right now, or at least, its playing itself.

I'm on the Oobag server. I figure since its quite new, it would be easier to move up the ranks, and be up pretty high when it starts to get popular.
 
Damn..didn't think this game was still around. I played it about a year and a half ago, I'm sure my account's been erased by now.

looks like someone has to create a guild...or did mardeth already do that? Then we can all join by hitting ctrl-g and typing in the name. If no-one posts that they already created it...I will create an Anandtech guild

not quite sure what the whole guild angle buys you though

Ok I'm hooked.. Running it on my windows machines. Also set up Anandtech guild since nobody else had yet.

edit* also it plays really well with seti!
 
I'm a level 22 Half-Halfling Robot Monk but "Guilds are not supported in this realm at this time". Don't ask me where I am, I haven't a clue apart from it's not the first one! 😕

this is pretty entertaining to run in the background at work, and it doesn't cut into my seti times. Now I just have to figure out how to join a guild.

Athough, any game that makes me carry around a kobold penis kinda disturbes me.

Anybody read the FAQ? I love the list of shortcut keys (Alt-F4 only)

Welcome to the TeAm! 😛 🙂

I realize, this could be, somewhat of a DC project. Points among teams I believe are aquired among level ups. We could gather points though recruiting and leveling (1 level = 1 WU?). It takes very little cpu clocks (Can't even notice). I do not see a reason to not run it 🙂

Though, It would be easy to get points/have multiple characters at once. You can keep running the program over and over.

Press Control + g and then type in the name of the guild. Only works with two of the realms I think, Oobag being one of them.
