does anyone own this computer desk?

made with cheap particle wood, so that's the reason why it's cheap. as long as you do not do any superficial damage to the surface, it'll last for a couple years. a little nick will expand the 'wound' over time and then it falls apart.

What is this? A desk for ants? How do you expect people to fit a computer there when you can't even fit a chair in it?
 
ok wtf, target put the correct name of that black desk in their page now...but i think the name change didn't do any good

That desk appears confining but it will depend on your use. I have had the following table for 10 years now and would not be happy with anything else. This table has room for 2-3 monitors with a lot of space underneath for several cases, external drives, cables, and spare parts.

I recommend this to everyone.

If you need shelving, 2x3s and plywood are VERY cheep.

Unless you need something that looks nice, this is simply the way to go.

I live in a box room so while its small its pretty tall which is good. I can setup my 7.1 speakers now. I currently havea cheap 3254123 years old $40 desk ==> http://www.walmart.com/catalog...do?product_id=10727875

so its a big upgrade plus it looks nice. Go check it out @ walmart if you can find it. I couldn't. Drove 1.5 hours to a walmart in the hood that said they had it. Than drove 15 minutes to a second one close to my house and almost left but found it around the corner in the wrong freaking spot.
 
^actually nothing wrong with the desk. I have 2 PC's one in the living room - the LGA775/SLI/gaming PC, then I have my second PC in the bedroom on a desk like that. They do come in very handy.
 
I laughed at the black kids desk and the kool kolor kids table.. but then i realized I'm using an Ikea Jerker 🙁
 
My freaking 28 inch monitor doesnt fit in monitor space without removing that shelf, but ill remove it next friday/saturday.. im beat .
