Does anyone own a Muvo 2 with the microdrive...

this would probably be a dumb thing to do huh? i just wanted to know because it is a cheaper alternative for that much space and has dual functionalities (4GB flash drive) and mp3/wma player.
 
I bought a Muvo2 to use the microdrive in my camera. I replaced it with a 1GB microdrive I had previously used.

I used it to run, walk to work, and was probably way too rough with it. It no longer works and I need a new card. It makes bad noises whenever I try to turn it on. It could just be that I had previously damaged the drive (I had used it in my camera for >1 year) but I'm sure that the 2 months it was in the Muvo2 was what did it in.
 
I run with my MuVo2 4GB player. I also use it when I'm mountainbiking, and that seems to be a lot rougher than running. Its worked flawlessly for me so far.
 
I have one with the radio gadget as well, I wear it a lot but you'll avoid running at all cost. (But that's not related to the muvo2 😛). I've had no problems with it.
 
well, it's the same drive in the ipod mini supposedly and i've jogged with it, but i'm generallly pretty careful... but no long term reports for ya on that.
