I was thinking about buying one but I know the 2004 and below models are absolutely notorious when it comes to reliability.

has this new model jeep taken a new lead?

all the reviews seem promising but i am looking for personal experiences too
 
Why bother? It's not very off road capable, even less than other mid size SUVs. You'd be happier with a car based SUV if you'll be mall crawling.
 
please educate me why it is not very off road capable. that is the reason why i am looking at it. am i missing something? thanks
