don't see the logic behind that one. that's like saying telephones would come and go. cell phones are just a technological advancement on telephones, they aren't an attmempt to replace them.

yeah, and CB's and walkie talkies are still in use. they were never mainstream consumer products.
the logic is totally wrong here.

Had one before digital was around.. could never leave it on for very long without the battery dieing so it became sort of pointless. Probably wouldn't mind having one now

I have one but my parents janked it since they got me a plan that doesnt work for when im at college..... that was really smart of them... So i got one when im at home... its good to have for when you travel for just-in-case emergencies. Thats all i use it for, unless i gotta call someone with a quick question while im driving. (Definitely not one of those people who talk for 20 minutes while driving... my average phone calls are like a minute long, tops.)

Wired telephons came and stayed.

Btw my phone doesn't work and it feels good to not have to talk to people.
