I don't have one.
I could use one, but for the expense it is, i'm happy w/o.
Someday i may get one when i truely need it.

I bought one just so I coudl call customers when I can't find their house when I'm delivering pizzas. 98% of my phone usage is towards that - I just don't call anyone else because I don't need to. If I didn't have this job, I'd have no use for a cell phone - just another waste of money.

I had one for a while, but then I have noticed how it is becoming cheaper to just have a regular phone in your house.

50.00 a month unlimited local and long distance isn't a bad deal.

I hate cell phones, with a burning passion.

The idea of a cell phone is to interrupt you while you're out doing something else. Its absurd, and even less efficient than focusng on what you're supposed to be doing. Not to mention, driving and using a cell is equivalent to being legally drunk while behind the wheel. I absolutely hate it when people start getting "cute" with their cells by using the dumbest ring tones, forgetting to turn them off in a movie/class/whatever, text messaging each other while sitting within 5 feet, etc. Cell phones are not blingage.

We should have all stuck with our landlines and answering machines... when I want to be unreachable, I should be able to make it so.

There are people who send 30,000 text messages a month with their phones. Personally I think teenagers having phones is pretty retarded.

My dorm phone can't call ouside of city limits so I use my cell for arranging meetups with friends and calling anything non local thats not an 800 number. I only make outgoing calls. I also abuse it so much that the one time I did get a call on it this year, it vibrated itself into a loose power connection and turned itself off... beating me to the punch....

Carrier knows that if I ever get a text message, its grounds for termination of the plan... never had a problem with them.....

It's the rest of the world and their text messages, midi ringtones and taking calls while I am talking to them IN PERSON that pisses me off

Edit: I should add that if I had to pay for it myself, I wouldn't have one... when I moved out and bought my car, my parents told me that "I needed to buy a cell incase I got into an accident." My reply explained that if I ever to get into an accident, only person who needs to know about it is already there and I wasnt buying one. Two days later, they bought me a cell.

I have one... mostly so that I can call my g/f who is currently living in another state for free, since we both have same phone company. Of corse sometimes its bad, I used to prefer it when we could only take after 9pm, thats was nice, we could talk during the day with IMs and stuff, but mostly had the day to myself then set aside the night for her.
