Does anyone make a new Dual VGA graphics card that doesnt suck?

Anubis

No Lifer
well does a new card liek this exist, one the can play games, like a 6800 or similar

DVI-VGA adapters put added stress on the GFX card and slowly kill it, and its starting to happen to mine again, i have to prop the monitor cable up so it doesnt pull down on the card as much or ill get image issues

so does one exist?

seeing as i see myself never owning a monitor that needs a DVI adapter i could really use one of thses

i run dual monotors so thats why i need it

The DVI interface carries both digital and analog signals, so I don't see how you would kill a card using an adapter. All the adapter does is connect the pins from the monitor cable to the analog pins on the DVI port.

From his post, he's talking about the physical stress it puts on the card by adding more torque on the card by extending the lever arm the weight on the monitor cable is connected to.

Oh, and I don't know about any decent 3d dual VGA cards 🙁

True 🙂

Have you thought about "ghetto rigging" something up? Like making a support that screws into the PCI slot opening below the videocard?
