Currently it will let me choose yellow, red, green, etc... about 20 choices. I want it to give me 5 yellows, 5 reds, 5 greens, for example, the background palate only has yellow, can I change it to allow yellow, yellow-green, green-yellow, light yellow, dark yellow, etc....? Is there a way to do this?

Perfect. But now I have a new problem.
I meant to change the highlight colors, not the back ground colors. Can I do that?

Click the yellow one
You have to highlight with your mouse then press the yellow button.
The black one is changing font color. If this is what you are asking...

Although I find it hard to believe that a lifer does not know how to use MS Word.

I got you, what I want to do is change the palet offered there.
Even if I could only stay with 15 choices, as it gives me, can I change each of the 15's palet?
