I remember this one horrible looking asian store, Garvey and Garfield I think, near a Bank of America. They got everything you need. They got the cans of abalone behind glass cage and the shark fins are hanging above the rice cookers in front, $300+ each.

:Q

I wonder if it's still there. I purchased some from the website, but in case it doesn't arrive maybe I'll head over there today or tomorrow. $300 each though, phew!

Yes the fins are still there, heck I don't they have moved for the last few months. They are just hanging around. I don't know the name of the store, but it has a crappy pot hole ridden parking lot, and a side entrance.

Or you can go the cheap route, head to the freezers, buy imitation shark fin, looks like stringy brownish jello, $2.99.

Eeew. :p Wow on the fins, it's a good thing they're preserved.

I purchased a pound of shark's fin, ten cans of abalone and several pounds of scallops from the website, and that should be a fine gift for my parents this holiday season. If the shark fin is still hanging by your place by next year, I might stop by to have a look!
