help! i want to enter a dell serial number, i see a lot of people on flea-bay with this computer generated listing of software and components that are in a laptop. does anyone know what site generates this? or a link to dell where i can enter the s/n?

Their site is really slow right now....

Support -> Downloads -> Enter Service Tag -> Somewhere in here it says something like "Show original configuration" It'll be right next to a button that says scan for config changes and such.

I usually just go to support.dell.com and choose warranty lookup.
