Does anyone know of a website with statistics of the world's armies?

I'm really interested in this in light of recent events...I'm mainly looking for the numbers of soldiers etc.

It doesn't even have to be comprehensive...if there isn't such a website, but there is a book I'm interested in that too.

Thanks.

Hopefully, this war will be like the Desert Storm, where most of the Iraqis gave up as soon as the military rolled up to them.

From what i've been reading, most of the Afghanistans don't like the Taliban government, so hopefully the US takes advantage of that. Perhaps they should drop pamphlets again, this time telling the people that they're there to liberate the people, not kill them.
