why not though. it's probably the easiest solution. If you have 2k or XP just put your screensaver on for 20min or so and enable the password. when it comes on it'll completely lock out your computer. Just tell windows not to log in automatically when you start it and you're set.

Key logging is only going to prove they are using the machine, are you going to tell them to stop using it? Avoid the headache and just lock the machine with a password... unless of course you just want to see what they are typing...
