<< Cogitamus ergo sumus. >>

That looks right to me. It's been a long time.

At any rate, it will use the same root words as "Cogito, ergo sum" but in first person plural.

Here it is in portuguese:

Nos pensamos, conseqüentemente nos somos.

Dropping the unnecessary "nos" (because the form of the word tells you the subject "we"), it comes out pretty close. Pensamos translates loosely to cogitamos, and consequentemente (consequently) to ergo.

If I had to put money on it, I'd bet Libra is right.

Yes, that should be right, fwict. (nota bene that I don't know a whole lot of Latin; just started learning it recently in my spare time, and since I'm in 8th grade, I don't have a whole lot of that :).

The original quote would be "Cogito, ergo sum" (I think, therefore I am), from Descartes.

Heh I still have a lot of those frikkin' declension, etc. songs stuck in my head.

Imaginine singing O, S, T, MUS, TIS, NT to the tune of the Mickey Mouse song (M I C...K E Y...)

Or a, ae, ae, am, long a, ae a-r-um, is, as, is.... to Old Macdonald

And finally, sum, es, est, sumus, estis, sunt...don't remember the tune for that one, though
