How, the John Doe and the Jane Doe name deal got started? the reason i ask is because when i go to order a pizza or any type of small cash transaction the cashiers always ask for a name, i give them jon doe, no h that blows them away. i tell them i want a pizza not a car loan. well, my son finally ask the magic question, ive not the answer? do you? :)

I dunno, but I do that one day my mom's former boss went to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription.
He had a pretty goofy sense of humor and decided to have a laugh with the pharmacist.

So he said with a feigned accent:
"I need to pick up a prescription."
--"What's your name?"
"Chondriac. Hypo Chondriac."
--"Does that start with a 'K'?"
