I wanted to know how to hook my home stero system up to my PC. I know it can be done because I have seen it done at my friends house. I tried searching and cant figure out how to do it.

All u need is a line going from your soundcard to your stereo - so on one end it looks like a standard headphone, and on the other end (assuming your amplifier stereo supports it) is the double ended male RCA (?) jacks. Basically at university I had my soundcard set as a "cd" so my amplifier just was receving the signal the same as it would from a cd player.

you can get an adaptor w/ the correct ends at radio shack....use the line out on the back of your sound card
