Does anyone know how much caffeine is in a Starbucks Double shot?

One 1.5 oz shot of espresso is equal to a 12oz cup of coffee's worth of caffeine, a doubleshot of course has two. As far as exact content I cannot help you.

NO, I don't do starbucks, I don't let my friends do starbucks.

People rage about the cost of gas, while sipping their 8 Oz coffee they paid $5 for. That is like $40 a gallon for some bad tasting coffee, go figure

starbucks doesn't even offer an 8oz size. you're allowed your opinion of course, but there's no sense in raging against the machine for the sake of doing so. starbucks appeals to certain people much like anything else, if they enjoy it why stand in their way?

If you're a coffee drinker and you want as much caffeine as you can get, go for a light roast coffee. Usually dark coffee means less caffeine...it gets roasted away. Therefore, typically, coffees like Colombian or Guatemala have more of a caffeine kick than a French Roast or a darker blend.

No...

Because the water used to make the espresso is pumped through the grains so fast, there is not enough time to extract an amount of caffeine comparable to coffee made through a filter where it sits in the grains and drips through. So while the brew may be "stronger," it is not equal to an 8oz CUP of regular coffee(let alone 12oz), though obviously much higher than an equal amount (two "shots") of regular coffee.
