Does anyone know exactly what refresh rate the SAMSUNG 955df will do at 1280x1024

I would appreciate this very much because many people are confused at this spec on this monitor. I have heard different things from 3 sources.

would also like to hear reviews of this monitor too. I am steering a friend to a 19" monitor, and need to know the best price/quality monitor around. Any cheap fd trinitrons around?

The cheapest and best quality of trintron for the money right know is the KDS AV-195TF. It can be bought at office depot for around $400 or you might be able to get it online cheaper. The only reason that I am not getting one for christmas is the fact that I cannot deal with the Sony lines in the picture tube.

Kehi, you can download Powerstrip from somewhere like tweakfiles.com. Use the "Advanced Options" menu and go to "Monitor Configuration." Then hit "DDC2B Monitor" to query the monitor and receive such information as it's maximum refresh rates, as well as the manufacturers suggested refresh rates.
