Does anyone know anything about this HSF

I recently bought an AMD Thundebird 850 OEM, and I got a 1-year warranty on the chip by buying this HSF from the retailer. I found this information sheet on the cooler. CPU cooler Im using the thermal pad that came with it until I get my Arctic Silver II I ordered. Im on a MSI K7TPro2-A, and the bios reports 36C Idle and up to 41C at full load. Anyone know much about this fan/heatsink? Need to upgrade if I'm gonna o/c?

Well, I would stick with the big names like GlobalWin or Alpha if I were overclocking.

Picking a HSF isn't like subatomic particle theory. In general, something big with a large surface area and a fairly powerful fan will get the job done when overclocking.

AMD says to use thermal pads, some enthusiasts swear by their own favorite thermal goop, take your pick.

The link you posted shows a very large sink with lots of surface area, and a standard low noise fan. It's a good place to start. If the temps seem to get higher than you want, try a more powerful fan. YSTechs and Sunons are widely used, as are 38cfm Deltas, if you can stand the noise.
