I had a message from their supposed 'regional manager' saying that he saw my resume on a job site and thinks I'd be a great match, blah blah blah. Something just didn't feel right so I never called him back.

if they sell whole life insurance, run FAST, and FAR away

if they still sell term life insurance, it might be ok

my parents were involved when it was first started, had a different name back then A.L. Williams

here is an excerpt from their web page

Primerica Financial Services was born in 1977, when 85 like-minded people began a crusade to help middle-income families with the "Buy Term and Invest the Difference" philosophy. That philosophy encouraged families to purchase affordable term life insurance so they would have more money to invest in their family's future.

Decades after it revolutionized an industry, the "The Buy Term and Invest the Difference" philosophy continues to be the cornerstone of Primerica's mission ? to help families become debt free and financially independent.

so its probably still ok

Do a search on ATOT about Primerica & find what you can dig up.

It will tell you don't just walk away, but run away.

If you want to sell insurance, get a license yourself. Primerica's prices are sky high and since it is multi-level, your commissions are really low.

they sell term life but their commission structure is based on training more people to sell their products rather than selling products yourself. "regional vice president" is simply their term for agent.

Some more info about Primerica: Bizwatch: Primerica

I received a call from one of their representatives and also was invited to one of their meetings. Luckily I did a search on Google about this business and found out all the dirt about it. It's easy to get fooled since it's associated with Citigroup. In short, Primerica == mostly bad news.
