I would really like to correspond with someone who designs jet engines for a living. I have a few questions I would like to ask.

I don't know any actual engineers, but I work at an air station. I'm around mechanics all day. What type of questions? Maybe I could help.

Throw your questions into "highly technical". There are definitely some people here who have taken some thermodynamics, and/or mechanical engineering.

"jet engine" design is an extremely wide field -- you're talking metallurgists, mechanical engineers, electrical/controls engineers, manufacturing specialists, reliability specialists, material scientists, among other fields.

I fail to see what the Brayton cycle could do to improve a case. lol
Maybe he wants someone who knows a lot about aerodynamics.

And thanks for the link to Big Nate.
