I'm sure there are programs out there that matches its premutation results against a dictionary so I'm sure someone can help.

It doesn't have to match itself against a dictionary.

It isn't to cheat in scrabble.

I have a grid (like a crossword)

Instead of me getting to the clues to the words that go into the grid i've got the word but jumbled into letters. I have to order out the chaos and find what word goes into each spot.

first word - egghoopprssy

first word has to have 8 letters :: second word 4 letters

???
