Hello all,

I live outside the US and my skybox provider allows me a daily limit of 1 pound of printed material for free. The last time I saw a PC Magazine printed edition I remember it was quite heavy with alot of pages... can anyone tell me if it weighs over 1 pound?

I emailed their help address to find out but they said they dont have that kind of information!!! I'd hate to order it and then it weighs more than a pound in which case i'll have to pay $2.25US in frieght charges for each edition I receive :(

Thanks!

You could subscribe to their digital edition.

You can get a free subscription fairly regularly in Hot Deals BTW. :)

Thanks for the deals with the digital editions but i'd prefer to get the printed magazines since a friend of mine would like to have the magazine when i'm done with it to add to a private school's library collection.

Once it's definitely under a pound as aphex says I think i'm safe with the freight charges.

its pretty small. I'd say maybe 10oz? They come pretty often though. Seems every week or two.

I'd have nothing to read on the can without them since those other mags only come once a month. :(

Thanks alot everyone for the quick info.

Once the official weight comes in i'll fire off my subscription!

Also subscribed to PC World, I know for sure that one is very light.

I have a subscrition to both PC Mag and PC World. They are both about the same size and under 1 pound for sure.

The new Computer Shopper is small too. It is not the old oversize big magazine like it used to be.

Ok this clears up alot... the last issue I saw of it was at least a few years old and was pretty big, looked around 300-400 pages or so... but once things have slimmed down now i'm in the clear!

Any other good technology related magz out there that you folks care to recommend? Im just trying to keep up with the latest stuff and get a few pointers on the way.

Thanks.
