Does anyone here still get their milk delivered by a milkman?

<< i get it from my gf 😉 >>

straight from the source eh?? lol.

ive never had milk delivered.. wouldnt mind trying it.. but i doubt any place in the bay area delivers milk.. esp in silicon valley..

I wouldn't mind... getting fresh milk every day... and your price isn't that far off what I pay for milk in cali... a gallon is about $4.25.

We still have delivery around here up in Pennsyltucky from Rosenberger's Dairy, but something even better, as well.

I just make the two mile trip to Dublin and get my Raw Milk fresh for $1.10 a half gallon from the Mennonite farm. Hours are 9:30-10:00 am and 3:30-6:00 pm, bring your own container (or they'll sell you a glass one for a buck, a plastic one for 20 cents extra).

There is NOTHING FRESHER than knowing your milk came from the cows you can smell and hear less than 20 feet away, that very day!!

Plus, these folks are old school and hard core. There aren't tons of scuzzy antibiotics force fed to the cows from which this milk came. Remember, "contented cows give sweet milk". Also, the milk is totally unprocessed or "Raw" -- not pasturized or homongenized. To be able to sell milk like this, the cows are held to MUCH MORE STRINGENT breeding, health and safety standards, which the cows from which most of you drink your milk could never pass.

And it's FRESH, FRESH, FRESH.

I used to. The milkman was kind of trashy looking though. Not those white suit wearing jolly men I always envision. And it was expensive. And we had to have a box outside for it. And people stole it.
