I never bother with scratch-offs.

once in awhile I'll get a lotto ticket... it's usually the result of me running into the bodega to get a soda, feeling like an asshole using a $20 to pay for a $1.29 purchase, and asking for 3 tix so I have fewer singles to bother with.
 
Yes, sometimes a little too much. I really play mostly $20/$10/$5 scratchers, and enter the losers for the 2nd-chance drawings if I remember to. (California thing?)

They even have an online account for it. *flamesuit*
