does anyone here have graverobbing experience?

all my life i have thought that it would be so cool to be a grave robber. the way i see it, its not really stealing cuz the person is dead. plus all the history! thats all indiana jones did and they made movies about him.

has anyone actually robbed a grave and can provide real world insights? is it as cool as i think it would be?

Contact my old friend, "John the Body Snatcher."

He was sent to Joliet State Prison in 1968 or 69 for "illegally transporting a corpse without a license."

Is there an accelerated program for those looking to move from cradle robbers to grave robbers? If so, I might have an inside track.

I dunno... but if anyone stole from my grave I'll be sure to haunt them for their rest of their lives or until they return it... 😛

This is why I am being cremated.

I really don't want the filthy hands of brianmanahan fondling my worm-eaten corpse.

It's called "archaeology". Perhaps you've heard of it?

eh but with archeology you have to

1: goto school
2: do boring things like dust off the stuff and file it in cabinets
3: get a permit

graverobbing has none of those restrictions as far as i know

Even Indiana Jones had to do that boring stuff, too. Remember the snakes, and the rats?

Crypts, maybe. I might be persuaded to break into a crypt. But the buried ones? Six feet of dirt is a lot of digging in the dark.

Step one: buy traffic cones. No matter the activity if done within a perimeter of traffic cones will be considered legally and socially acceptable. People instinctively just keep moving, glad your activity is not inconveniencing them.

Look at your neighbors. Do they look like the kind of folks with money to bury? Rules for lawyers #1: Never sue poor people. Rules for robbers #1: Go where the money is.
