Does anyone here have an AOL CD with the number and password you need to sign up?

I got a CD but I need to create an account, I always throw out the papers with the passwords and #'s you need to get on. can anyone give me one for AOL 5? please dont say $hit about AOL, I need to use it for email and other things which its really good for. If got something stupid to say STFU. thanks.

Yesterday, I received another free AOL CD in the mail. This one was different. The CD was encased in a metal case. I liked the look and wanted to check it out. After taking the plastic off of it, I couldn't open the lid to check out the contents inside.

Even though I wouldn't subscribe to AOL, others might. However, if they can't get the blasted cover off of the metal case, then how good is the free software?

This was kind of a neat marketing idea. However, AOL has blown it if nobody can open those metal cases to get the software out -- and can't sign up for the service.

I've never recieved an AOL cd. What do you gotta do to get one? My dad used to have an AOL account. (like 6 years ago - before I grew up and forced him to get a real account (btw... I'm 18, so I was 12 when I was smart enough to realize AOHELL sucked ass))

when aol sent 3 1/2" disks i filled out this form on some page like 10 times under different aliases. like ever 3 weeks, i would be inundated with free floppies
now it sucks. stupid CDs.

i don't think you even need one of those registration number things..
it's probably just used to see what mailing areas are successful in attracting members.
