yes. A group of friends...lets say my nerd friends call me KP in real life. That is becuase I met them online first, and KP is my gamer tag. Pretty much all of my gamer friends, or even normal people that i have met through them call me KP. I like the name KP so its cool.

it's weird talking to people on the phone and having them refer to other people by their usernames. even stranger when this is done IRL. i can't stand it. i want real names unless it's during posting on the board.

GeForceTony was the guy that brought me here to help argue for him in the video forums. Since then he's insisted on calling me by my ATOT handle at least once a week when we've talked. But I go by Bob IRL, and I ususally use Menkey in online non RPG games, so it works out. It's just annoying. I'd rather go by my usual forum whore name of Beta if someone was going to use an online handle IRL.
