Does anyone have xm radio?

I checked out their website and it's actually pretty affordable. The reciever is $299 and then there is $10 a month subscription fee. The only thing that's stopping me is I'm worried about quality of the sound. Like is the quality good everywhere or does it change from point to point?

well, i was kinda hopping it would be shakira who walls through my roof 😉

i thought there were some xm receivers that were built into decks now. i thought i saw one with sirius for $229 the other day here in houston. could be wrong though...

They say that the sound quality is CD-like and since the signals are sent from satellites, Id say the quality probably wouldnt vary too much unless you had a lot of interference with tunnels, trees, storms, etc. I could be wrong

if you decide to get it, i advice against any sort of contract. at this point i'm not very confident in xm radio. we all dont spend that much time in our car anyways. although it's only 10 bux a month, it's more of a useless luxury IMO.
