Does anyone have this garage door screen thing?

I live in Minnesota, which is awesome in the spring and summer...except for the mosquitoes. Thinking about getting one of these, but it seems pretty inexpensive. I wonder if I should pay a little more and get something different, but if it works for <$30, then I'll go ahead and get this one.

So, do you have one? Does it work? What brand is it?

For $30 I doubt you could build one. The screens would probably cost more than that. I imagine you have a 9 foot wide door and it is around 7 feet high. So by the time you buy the screen and then buy the wood, or the metal, to make the frame, I don't think you can build it as cheap as you can buy that one. That is one heck of a deal. Maybe you should buy more than one and then sell the extra ones. I think you could sell those things like hot cakes. If you were to charge like $49.95 you could probably sell a ton of them.

seen them around for years. though i just keep the garage door closed and a fan on. works the same imo.

Had one for years. Awesome for those nights when there are just too many mosquitos to sit around a bon fire, but you want to be outside. Perfect for garage drinking.....

I suppose that makes sense...in a way.

I can't personally think of ANY reason to have a screen door for my garage. If I'm not going through, there's no reason for that door to be open.

Of course, my garage is so full of "miscellaneous crap," that there's no room for a car either...😛

Hopefully, when we have our big yard sale this year, I can remedy that. 🙄

My garage is setup as a workshop. Sometimes I'll spend all day and night in there working.

Mine is kind of a man-cave of sorts. Ceiling fans, refridgerator, TV, stereo, etc. Another place for me to hang out away from the wife and kids 🙂
