Does anyone have the SE K790/K800 phone ?

Hey Guys,
Currently i have a SE Z520 that is POS, great phone, great features, but screen has gone kerplunk, and works sometimes when i open it slowly or something. my 2 year contract ends in february, and i want to get a K790/K800 phone, they are really nice and look great, plus their more stable then the Z520. Does anyone have experience with the K790 ? and the Z520 ? also anyone know of great sites where i can buy the K790 at a good price ?

I own a K800. One of the BEST phones i've owned. Its stable, and not laggy. 3.2 MP camera which is really nice. MP3 player on this is nice too. Screen is superb. The only thing i wish it had was wifi and a qwerty. I'm jealous of my friends Nokia E90 which is IMO THE best phone you can buy now, but thats way too costly.
P.S. If you are on cingular pick up the K790a edition which has an 850 band which greatly improves your signal compared to the K800.

I have the k790a, it's a good phone, but I think you should wait for the k850, which is basically a next gen of k790.

k850 has 5.2mp camera I think, and it's coming to at&t soon.

If you still want the 790, the best price I could find is at amazon for around $350.

Yeah the K790 has been out for a while. I'd def check used phones if you're up to that. Which would be a lot cheaper

Actually the K850 is 5MP not 5.2.
And it is already released. It is not getting picked up by Cingular or any other American carrier for a while. None of them have even touched the K800/790 yet so I don't see why they would pick the K850.
K850 right now is pretty pricey because it was just released.

I stand corrected "nace186". Nice find. Why did they have to pick it up. I guess I'll wait for a better phone. I hate it when providers carry high-end phones. I hate having a phone that everyone has.

They're great phones but I would stay away because of the lack of quad band. Since they've been out for so long, you might as well just wait for the K850 which is out, but just wait for the prices to drop.

K850i is not worth the money. My workmate bought it last Sunday and I played with it. The button design sucks royally. They are tiny, thin, and rigid, it's painful to press onto them.
The color of the screen is not bright. There are 3 touchscreen buttons, but I think it's just for kicks, not practical. It looks like a glorified version of k800i.

If you are only looking for k790, then it's a good phone. I think you'll be happy with it. Just one thing I have to say though, the battery cover is a PITA to get off, but after a couple try, you'll get use to it.
