That's because EA oversold their next-gen Madden experience with that stupid "what we are shooting for" prerendered demo. Everyone expected that out of the gate with the 360 and they just weren't going to get that at all with the limited time EA had to develop the 360 version from the ground-up.

I do everything in my power to not support the evil empire. So I will never buy an xbox whether its the first one or the xbox 3037. However, im not some sony fanboi who believes anything about there obvious performance overstatements. Personally I think things were just fine when I had my NES, and then this sega company had to come along and just ruin everything.

However, I am planning to get a PS3, because I have tons of PS2 games, and i heard it was going to be 98% backwards compatible with PS1 & 2 games (So it doesnt make sence for me to buy a 360, because I dotn have any xbox games). Based on how cool the madden 360 does look, Im pretty sure the PS3 version is going to look quite comparable, and I should be happy with the PS3.

Eh you guys haven't tried out Kameo for the Xbox360. That game is really good. Good imagination in that game.
Can't wait to see what will happen when the Revolution and PS3 comes out.
I heard that the Revolution is already Gold so it should be here around May or something like that.

Madden on the 360 looks prettier but that's about it, it lacks some of the features the xbox and ps2 versions have.

All that didn't make it into the game for the reason I stated in a post above - EA didn't have time to put all of it into this release of Madden on the 360. They completely rewrote Madden from the ground-up for the next-gen consoles. You'll likely find all of it in next year's release for the 360 and PS3.

Same thing for other EA Sports games like Tiger Woods.

all i heard was the CEO saying that the ps3 will be in the 299-399 price range, when did they confirm that it will cost more in retail, not actually making the console itself.

They haven't confirmed it but some Sony execs have been making half-assed comments like how people are going to want to get second jobs or work longer hours to afford the PS3. It's just part of the Sony hype machine but it has lead to many thinking that the PS3 is going to cost $500 or more.
