Does anyone have any idea on how to make a bootable CDRW under XP?

I'm at a loss. Sure, I can format a floppy and make it a system disk, but I don't have any floppies laying around. So I got the brilliant idea of trying to make a bootable CDRW, but, well, Nero wants a boot image from a floppy - and duh, I don't have a floppy!

Talk about a paradox.

Hmm, bootdisk.com's images are all autocompressed to extract directly to a floppy.

Yeah - I can do that and have done that. The process to do this is insanely stupid and involved for something which most recording packages (including what WinXP gives you built in) should be able to do with a single mouseclick.

Regardless of that, I cannot use this method to update my machine's bios anyway because Shuttle conveniently packages the BIOS updater and image in a self-extracting executable which cannot be extracted within XP anyway, and obviously can't be extracted onto a CD under DOS.

i find it VERY hard to believe that you cannot extract the files from the exe with winimage or winrar and then add them to the bootable cd.
