The Zalman website doesn't say anyhthing, it gives a mobo compatibility list but the ASUS p4p800-e deluxe isn't listed.

So can anyone with this motherboard tell me if it fits?

Depends... how much space do you have available above the mobo?

Zalman coolers are HUGE, and from ASUS's pictures, it looks like their socket is pretty high up on the mobo... so expect half an inch to an inch of hanging off the mobo, and if you can fit that, then you should probably be ok...

Zalman coolers are generally good about not getting in the way of stuff on the mobo.

Half an inch? I'll have to check out my PSU then....
Would it be safe to bend or cut some of the fins off? Not too much but JUST enough to fit.

Be carefull when buying this, it takes a bit of space on the motherboard, i just got it today, and installed it and there is about 1cm between the cooler and my video card. Make sure you have enough space on the mobo, it's quite wide.
