Well she had the right idea so far as throwing the first strikes against a larger opponent.

The first place she went wrong is location. Back of the head will break your hand before it hurts the person you strike with it.

The second place she went wrong, and I am an expert on this due to years of MMA training via buying PPV UFC fights: she hits like a 16 year old suburban girl.
