Does anyone have a good recipe including tofu and squash?

I think the two combined create a "complete protein". I bought some extra firm tofu and squash the other day, and am wondering if anyone can suggest a tasty way to prepare them.

On a serious note, you can stir-fry the chopped tofu and squash with peppers (the red, green, yellow kind) and liberally sprinkle with salted cashew just before done.

Perhaps in the same meal?

I can't think of a way to prepare them at once, that would be anything less than disgusting.

How about an asian tofu dish with squash for dessert.

And fullfill your entire USRDA of saft in one meal.

Nobody ever died from salted cashews. 🙂 Hell, get unsalted if you want.

Nothing good could come from a recipe that uses both tofu and squash.
True. It's hard to keep it from turning into a wet mess - then again, some people like it that way. 😉

u can make miso/deung jang(sp?) soup out of those two ingredients...

fried squash with egg batter..

fried tofu with soysauce, green onions, red peppers, sesame oil,

tofu, squash, ground beef, onions, seasoning, eggs meat/tofu loaf

umm... thats all i can think of right now 😛

yeah, those two don't mix too well.

typically firm tofu is stir fried or battered and fried.

The soup based stuff really calls for soft tofu.

That's like "Lizard kidneys and Collard Greens!"

Ever try strawberries stuffed with anchovy paste? ugh
