Does anyone have a domain from Godaddy.com that is private?

I am thinking about making my registration information "private" via godaddy.com and I am wondering if anyone here has a domain that is private so I can check it out to see what my $9 pays for..

That sucks. They used to conceal your personal info in a WHOIS query, but apparently they've broken that off into an extra-fee service.

I believe your address and phone number would be blocked off.

Your domains technically can be taken from you for using false info, just fyi.

In my experiences (I first registered my domain in April 2002) Godaddy blocks your info from being shown on all whois lookups EXCEPT their own.

FYI - do a whois at Godaddy and at Verisign on mikeroth.org

$8.88/yr isnt' that cheap compare to godaddy's $8.95/yr. Dont know about fake info but i guess it would be hard to prove your identity if something bad happens then
