Does anyone find this annoying about pics.bbzzdd.com?

Although the new update seems pretty sweet, there are two problems that I have with it.

When looking at the last 20 uploads, I used to be able to view each picture that looked interesting by simply opening a new tab for each picture. Now when I do this, I have another thumbnail for every picture that I have to re-click in order to see the image. So if there's 10 interesting picture in the top 20, I now have to create 20 new tabs.

This is true for the searches too. It requires another step of clicking on the same thumbnail twice.

Also, the searches only show 10 results per page and the thumbnails are arranged vertically so you can only see 3 at a time. It seems like the previous search was a faster method.


Not that I'm complaining, all in all it looks pretty good. I just found these things to be a step back from the previous version. Just wondering what you guys thought

Yea I like everything but the stupid double click to veiw, I want to just open one link and see the picture after I see the thumbnail.

also there is no next page options at the bottom of searches, you still have to scroll back up top.

I said the EXACT same thing. The solution is...SHIFT+Click on the image. It brings it up without the thumbnail. Still kinda annoying if you ask me.

everything takes getting used to. there are pros and cons, but i know dan is out there listening and will build a site that can best meet everyone's expectations!

Works in firefox. As I said, I really don't like the solution but it works. I wish that they would also put "last 25", "top 25", and "Hall of fame" back on the site. That's what I would always go check when I went to the site.

Works in firefox. As I said, I really don't like the solution but it works. I wish that they would also put "last 25", "top 25", and "Hall of fame" back on the site. That's what I would always go check when I went to the site.

They are still there just under different names, and now they have the top rated, and random galleries. But yea, overall I liked the old design better, I dont really see any useful improvments, it seems slower overall and bloated now.

but, once you have a new tab with the thumbnail, why would you open another new tab, rather than just opening up within the same tab? Hence, you wanted 10 pictures, you do it in 10 tabs, albeit a 2 step process..

dannyboy's apparently been pretty busy with other stuff. We had a thread and I'm pretty sure he took down everyone's suggestions on paper. Not many have been implemented, so just give it time...

this is the problem with starting more than 1 thread on the same subject...

I don't mind the double clicks since they have to make the cost somehow, and I take it they probably get some funds from the google ads.

as for search results, I agree, I would like to see more pics in the results page. Not only that, when you view your own gallery, it only shows 20 pics at a time. Is there a way to show all on 1 page, instead of click on next page every 20 pics? Oh wait, the ads again...

all in all, I like the new version better.

I wouldn't know about the ads, they're all blocked on my browser
