And sorry for the delayed response but I've been extraordinarily busy recently and haven't had the time to focus on pics?

I got half way through the re-write before having to cut short and get on with real life, once things have settled at work and I have some more time again I'll get back onto it.

If anyone actually uses that, I would be happy to fix it.

I actually went to fix it the other day and it does not seem to like the new DB schema so I dropped it.

I said the EXACT same thing. The solution is...SHIFT+Click on the image. It brings it up without the thumbnail. Still kinda annoying if you ask me.

Doesnt work in Safari for me.

throw your mac out the window and get a PC?

When looking at the last 20 uploads, I used to be able to view each picture that looked interesting by simply opening a new tab for each picture. Now when I do this, I have another thumbnail for every picture that I have to re-click in order to see the image. So if there's 10 interesting picture in the top 20, I now have to create 20 new tabs.

This is true for the searches too. It requires another step of clicking on the same thumbnail twice.

Also, the searches only show 10 results per page and the thumbnails are arranged vertically so you can only see 3 at a time. It seems like the previous search was a faster method.

Not that I'm complaining, all in all it looks pretty good. I just found these things to be a step back from the previous version. Just wondering what you guys thought

I agree, I find myself not using bbzzdd as much as I used to as a result of having to many extra steps and clicks, the best part was just being able to look through the last 20 and top 20 and just simply clicking on one I liked, now with the extra step its just more of a pain.

yeah that is a messed up workflow. clicking thumbnails should take you straight to the image, and an additional click should then open file info screen.

I used to use it all the time. In fact, I still have the old rss feed link in my FF bookmarks to remind me to ask about it from time to time.

When Shift-clicking a thumbnail to view, it opens in a new tab, certainly.

However, the originating tab also loads the fullsize picture

Once again, I'll have to make this statement clear:

QUIT BITCHING! IT'S FREE FOR YOU TO USE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, CREATE YOUR OWN SOFTWARE, HOST IT, AND THEN YOU'LL BE 100% SATISFIED!

That goes for every damn thing that's offered as a FREE service to you.

Someone doesn't understand the concept of having an opinion.

Oh I understand the concept of having an opinion, but I also understand the concept of not being a pissant who whines about a free service making its registered users click ONE MORE TIME to view a damn picture.

Oh no! Everything's going to come crashing down because I have to click my mouse one more time. Damn Damn Damn!

I hate people who bitch about this stuff because I used to host a pic site and while lots of people used it and abused it everyone still managed to bitch about it even though I did it for free.

yes, fix it to work with the old RSS (0.8 I believe) also. ;) The Trillian RSS reader doesn't do 2.0. :(
